Weekend Family Survival/Buschcraft experience

The perfect course to introduce yourself and your family to survival training. If you ”have some thoughts about the crisis in the society and how you are going to deal with some of those issues” and are ready to start your journey of learning Survival skills and concepts, this is the course for you. Learn from highly trained Instructors with a lot of experience in a relaxed, low-stress environment.

You will will be Provided with (Emergency Kit for Learning) so Simple Camp Gear is all that is required for this class.

Required Gear List

  • One night is Camping in Primitive Shelter Trap/Tent
  • Port-a-Potties are located 50 from Base Camp and serve as the only means of restroom facilities

The following gear items will be needed & used during the course. SOME ITEMS ARE REQUIRED, others are recommendations to make your time at class more comfortable.

NOTE: If you need to rent or order any items from us do so no later than two weeks prior to class to ensure you receive your order.

Equipment List:

  1. Backpack 25-35 Ltr
  2. Tent, /Tarp, We provide with Tarp
  3. Sleeping Bag
  4. Sleeping Pad
  5. Clothes for 3 Days 2 Nights
  6. Leather Gloves (Highly recommended for material gathering)
  7. Pocket Knife or Fixed blad knife (recommended for personal use)
  8. Water Bottle for personal consumption (A bottle for tasks, will be provided)
  9. Headlamp or Flashlight
  10. Analog Watch
  11. Bic Lighter (required)
  12. Notebook w/Pencils or Pens (required)
  13. Camera or Cell Phone
  14. Personal Hygiene and Medications (Prescription only)
  15. Bug spray

You may camp with a Tent or Hammock and you are not limited to what you may bring.

Scope:

You  will work from a  base camp environment you are building your shelter with tarps and other resources. You are learning  the basic elements of Survival Priorities and Kit mentality.

This is a very LOW-intensity level class with some walking for short distances at a slow pace to discuss certain resources like fire components and sheltering, as well as complete a simple Navigation course of approx. 1KM  There are no timed deliverables or qualifications in this class so no pressure. But we are covering a lot of topics so prepare to be tired in the evening.
